Jenkinsons Win £10m Furniture Contract
Jenkinsons have completed negotiations with the Merseyside Collaborative Group. This has resulted in Jenkinsons being awarded a 4 year contract for the supply of office furniture and seating to 5 local Councils – Liverpool City Council, Sefton Council, Halton Borough Council, Knowsley MBC, Wirral MBC and St Helens Council. The value of this contract is estimated to be over £10million.
Jenkinsons’ Managing Director, Martin Baker, said this is the result of a tremendous effort by our furniture team over the previous 3 years.
The Councils involved recognised that we offer the best package of service, value for money and expertise in the North West.
This new contract follows continuous success in 2010 with the completion of the new Cheshire West and Chester HQ building (£1million contract) and the Knowsley Place development for Bury MBC (£750,000)
