Thousands of top-level PAs register to attend new office* show

With the launch show now just three weeks away, excitement continues to build for office* – the dedicated new exhibition and conference taking place at London’s Earls Court on 21-22 September, which is expected to see the largest gathering of PAs, EAs and Office Managers in the UK this year.

office* show almost sold out

The upcoming office* show taking place next month over 21-22 September at London’s Earls Court, is now almost entirely sold out. There should be over 150 exhibitors demonstrating new products and services to over 6000 of the UK’s top office professionals.

Event Manager Ali Mead, says: “The strong demand for exhibitor space clearly reflects the importance that office* presents for reaching the key PA and Office Manager market, which comprises of some of the most influential purchasers in the UK today.”

Stationery Show now a stand-alone buyer only event

The Stationery Show has become a standalone, buyer-only event following last month’s successful debut of the ‘100% stationery’ concept alongside the Office Products Show which was attended by many leading independents and multiple retailers.  They included buyers from John Lewis, Paperchase, National Trust, Harrods, Bentalls, Amazon, Ryman, Wilkinson, Waterstone’s, WHSmith, Colemans, Fenwick, Staples, British Bookshops & Stationers, Stationery Cupboard and Jarrold Stationers.

Admission will in future only be open to retailers and resellers and will exclude non-exhibiting suppliers, in order to protect exhibitors’ investment in the show. The Office Products Show has been discontinued. … Continue Reading

Zebra enjoy Sundays

Zebra Pen now like working on a Sunday; that’s official according to Martin Notley, Sales & Marketing Director for Zebra Pen after attending the annual Office Club Conference and Exhibition

over the weekend.’ We had a terrific day on Sunday at the Supplier exhibition giving us the opportunity to show our new range of highly fashionable and innovative new products to so many Office Club members who attended at the weekend. Members were definitely in a ‘buying’ mood which is great from a manufacturers point of view’.

SOPX – the Stationery and Office Products Shows – is to become a standalone exhibition for buyers of stationery products for the home, school and office, known simply as the Stationery Show.

Volcano delays BREAKTHROUGH

Travel trauma postpones conference date to 27 May… same time, same place

The Proficiency Group team was scheduled to return from Chicago today, but cannot return until Friday 23^rd April earliest. Moreover, keynote speakers, US and European delegates face similarly severe disruption to their travel plans.

We are extremely sorry. We were really  looking forward to a terrific BREAKTHROUGH conference line up with a record 140+ delegates due to attend.

We have decided to postpone the event until Thursday 27 May 2010, same time… same place:  Kempton Park, Sunbury on Thames.

We have contacted most of the speakers and to date, all are able to make the new date. We’ll keep you posted and confirm details in the next few days. All delegates will be emailed tomorrow with new plans.
