Following a period of consultation I have made the decision that the roles of Merchandising Director and Supply Chain Director are no longer required in the Spicers business. As a consequence of this John Fenton and Vida Barr-Jones have been made redundant and left the business yesterday. I would to thank both of them for their support and service to me and to Spicers and in particular to Vida who has remained professional and loyal throughout her career with Spicers.
