Via the arts funding website Kickstarter, Johanna has secured sufficient backing to start a unique and highly interactive artwork entitled Wonderbeasts. To quote Johanna, Wonderbeasts will be ‘a crowd sourced co-creation sensation’ with donors suggesting ideas which Johanna then incorporates into one huge piece of artwork. As Johanna explains ‘I’ll be turning a huge blank sheet of paper into a monochrome menagerie of hand drawn insects, animals, birds and mythical creatures, each one suggested by a project backer.”

The staff at Nectere’s Head Office in Birmingham rallied together and set up a team of bakers, cooks, and ‘slaves’ for raffle and auctions to help raise money for Red Nose Day 2013.
Nectere’s appeal started when instead of buying out for lunch and snacks, staff were encouraged to purchase buns, cakes and lunches from colleagues who have taken their time and money to bake/cook delicious buns and lunches throughout the week.
