Dealer group Office Club and pen manufacturer Uni Mitsubishi Pencil Company have jointly demonstrated that sales opportunities still exist during the recession – if you work at it.
Uni National Account Controller, Geoff Church, confirmed: “We are delighted with the fact that like for like sales with Office Club members for the First Quarter are up significantly, by over 25% in fact. Both Office Club and ourselves believe that sales are still out there, but you need to work much harder to gain them. Working with Office Club members to use promotions, point of sale and the marketing tools available we have proved that market share is still available for the independent dealer”
